About Us

I started Active Duty Angels because I want to change the face of home care. I believe every visit, every plan, and every interaction should uplift the person receiving it. Over the years, I’ve learned that it truly takes earth angels to support someone with dignity, comfort, and steady presence — people who show up with patience, compassion, and genuine care.

I named my business Active Duty Angels because I believe caregivers should be actively engaged and fully present — the kind of support that truly makes a difference in someone’s day.

My mission is simple: to help people live safely and comfortably at home, with dignity, respect, and a steady, compassionate presence they can rely on.

Hands-On Leadership

As a woman-owned, closely held agency, every detail is personally overseen with care. Clients and caregivers receive direct attention, clear communication, and consistent support—not layers of management.

Compassion at the Center

We don’t rush care. We listen first, honor each person’s story, and build support around what truly matters to them and their family.

Professional, Maine-Compliant Standards

Our policies, documentation, and practices are built with precision and compassion, meeting Maine’s requirements for non-medical in-home care while keeping the experience warm and personal.

A Promise of Dignity

Every visit is grounded in respect. Every interaction is guided by empathy. Every client is treated like family. All clients and their families are actively supported by creating a standard of care that is personal, dignified, and truly human.

My approach is hands‑on, heart‑centered, and built around the belief that people deserve more than task-based support — they deserve presence, respect, and someone who genuinely listens.

Every visit, every plan, and every interaction is guided by the values that shaped my life: the Golden Rule and the belief that care should be a positive, comforting experience the person receiving it.
